You need mirage celestones and dragon orbs. Both can be bought at God's Giving NPC. To refine you need to talk to any elder of any city. Max refine level is +12, weapons require 2 mirages for each refine and armor/accesories require 1 celestone.

good guide but its out dated now as the way to get lv140 gear has changed and the same goes for gears after that.... other than that really helpful

It is not outdated. There are two types of gears at level 140.

One is the Primal gear which is explained in this guide. Other is the Demonic gear which can only be bought from the boutique.

Items needed:
(You will need 2 diferent items)
+
(You will need an "Arena" piece (Armor, Weapon or Accesory))
+
(You will need to enter in FC (Frostcovered City) to farm the necessary materials (check the forges for the materials needed for each item you want))

Heaven Cotton
Devil's Wood

Amount needed:

• Armors: 10 of each
• Weapons: 10 of each
• Accesories: 10 of each

Where to farm:
You can farm Heaven Cotton at Lothranis.
This is mostly known as "Heaven Map".
Teleport to the 2nd Village, White Lotus.

You can farm Devil's Wood at Momaganon.
This is mostly known as "Hell Map".
Teleport to the 2nd Village, The Camp of the Fallen Phoenix.
After teleport to The Camp, follow the road to the West. (you will see some Garnet Terror's here but leave them alone, there just a few and not worth the time to farm them)
When you see a big monster's skeleton, fly up and turn to the left.
Coordinates: "415 600"

Monters:
Heaven Cotton

• Firemane Leopardis
• Styren General

Devil's Wood

• Garnet Terror
• Succubus Whipster

Where to farm:
You can farm Chrono Leaf at the 2nd map of Old Heavens Tears.
To get to this Map you will need to go talk to the Messenger of Time, located at "553 655".
First talk to him and choose the option, Purchase Chrono Key.
After that talk again to him and choose the option, Travel Back.
You will teleported into the 1st Map of OHT (Old Heaven's Tears).
Then talk to Messenger of Time in there and choose the option Unicorn Forest.
After this you will need to go below the platform, into the water and dig "Heroe's Blood".
Come back up to the platform and deliver the item to travel to the Unicorn Forest.

I believe you dont have to do this anymore...

You can get raptures by doing nirvana.
