I was wondering if there were any guides or if someone could tell me how does the aps work.

By that I mean:

If you have 0.80 aps and you add -.05 int. Then you get 0.83 aps total and therefore.

Because I have a sin main and I dont want to go investing on getting 3x or 2x int on my gear if it wont go up that much.

there are aps determined, you will only reach those values if your interval all together is enough for it.

for example it will jump from 2.86 to 3.33, all the interval bonus u get in between if not enough to reach the 3.33 then you won't be 3.33 and keep 2.86.

a lot lol
i think for example from 2.86 to 3.33 you need 0.15 or 0.20, can't be sure since i don't use a sin for some time :/

just know that here we caped 4.0 and 5.0
when you are at 3.33 everytihng is normal, if you reach 4.0 and 5.0 your stats will be affected to set some balance, you will lose 20% accuracy + 5% damage.

To get from 2.22 to 4.0 base you need another -0.2 int. The way to use the chart you provided is to look here

--   The Attack Interval Chart   --

0.63 attacks / sec (1.60 secs / attack) Crossbow
0.65 attacks / sec (1.55 secs / attack) ☆Hurricane Spray, ☆Returning Squall
0.67 attacks / sec (1.50 secs / attack) Bow, ☆Windcatcher, ☆Punishing Thunder
0.69 attacks / sec (1.45 secs / attack) ☆Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher
0.71 attacks / sec (1.40 secs / attack) Slingshot, ☆Heaven Shatterer, ☆☆Bow of the Demonhunter

Every -0.05 Interval = a -0.05 second.
So if you want to figure out 2.22 to 4.0,

2.22 attacks / sec (0.45 secs / attack)
2.50 attacks / sec (0.40 secs / attack)
2.86 attacks / sec (0.35 secs / attack)
3.33 attacks / sec (0.30 secs / attack)
4.00 attacks / sec (0.25 secs / attack)
5.00 attacks / sec (0.20 secs / attack) Maximum Attack Speed / Minimum Attack Interval

0.45 - 0.25 = 0.2, so in terms of gears you would need,

Dragon Daggers (or a 2x int R8) = -0.1
Int Robe = -0.05
Tome = -0.05
Top 3x int = -0.15
Wrist 3x int = -0.15
Set Bonus = -0.05

Goodluck.

Thank you, for those who wonder I found a chart.

You forgot the three "God" attack speeds :)).

Attacks per second is the inverse of interval between hits. Each -0.XX interval will exponentially increase your attacks per second because f(x) = 1/x is an inverse function.

Base attacks per second with daggers is 1.25.
Therefore, interval between hits = 1/1.25 = 0.8
Subtract total amount of -interval on your gear and then find the inverse of it for your attacks per second.

For example:

-0.1 daggers
-0.05 tome
-0.1 wrist
-0.1 chest
-0.05 cape
-0.05 dragon bonus
= 0.45 interval between hits

Ending interval between hits = 0.8-0.45 = 0.35
Ending attacks per second = 1/0.35 = 2.86 base

Demon spark = 25% reduction
Interval between hits = 0.35 x 0.75 = 0.2625
Rounded down = 0.25
Attacks per second = 1/0.25 = 4

Your interval between hits always rounds down to the nearest denomination available. Demon sparking at 3.33 base puts you at 0.225 interval between hits, which rounds down to 0.2 as that's the next interval threshold available. This puts you at 5 aps sparked.
