On topic: A psychic has many defensive skills, countering sin spark is simple; psy will/expel or even switch to white and keep your distance, try to maybe immobilize him with glacial shards or even stun if his tidal doesn't block it.

If you're sage, you can easily purify 0 def or to prevent it, kill the pet first since that's the primary killer if the skill effect procs on you.

For a mystic, evil ward is your best friend, ct debuff is also helpful or just stay out of their way.
