every laptop with Avast , i removed their HDD and put it on desktop scanned it with norton, 11 viruses in windows files.

the ones im suggesting.

Synmantec (norton)
at company i used to do practise all servers had synmantec anti virus.

There is no substitute for common sense either. Most virusses can be avoided by not clicking, installing, etc etc of random stuff.

I use Avast and have used it for a very long time now. I really like it. Works great for me.

Install a free virus protection, which is faulty. Or you could install a Linux distro...
