u just need to mix al the good stuff, wizard needs:
reduce phys dmg %
channelling %
magic

u can get some vitality if u want too...

Also what most wizzies dont think much of is crit. Crits kill.

i dont understand one thing about people using wizards....whats with the instant channelling ? im only 72% on mine and i 2shot or 3shot anything

I dont even have a wiz, but from what i saw,sadly,best wizzies are insta chan and fire combo. Not saying best in skill, i mean, best to kill other ppl.

With Genie Spark it really doesn't matter what build you use.

i dont use fire combo (genie spark), i merely know how to use skills on each class individually 

but ThaPinky have a point...doesnt matter the build...use Spark from genie and u can kill any class.

the Fire Combo is called this way cuz:

1. Use Undine Strike
2. Use "Spark" from genie
3. Use a Fire element skill
4. Use another Fire element skil (if it didnt die with the previous step)
5. Use another Fire element skil (if it didnt die with the previous step)

If only defending against wizards were that simple -_- I was fighting a wizard last night for about 20 mins, we only stopped because his charm run out lol. Wizards use that skill to pull away a lot and hit really hard, for us CQB HA Users, wizards are the ultimate enemy along with pys. I see them use some from of earth attack combo on me too which usually hits pretty hard.

Well if they make SoFire cost no Energy I can add it to my genie

In my opinion it's really all about taste and the player. In this case (Wizard) both Demon and Sage are good, just different types of gameplay. As for gear, I also find it as all about taste and player ( with exceptions obviously). Try different things and find your own way of playing Wizard. That's what is most fun in these games
