Mage Rank 8 Recast add on stat change

Was just wondering why the -3 channeling was changed to just +1 critical chance. Couldn't you atleast increase the crit change a bit more.

don't u have enough power to kill something? i mean barbs 3th stat is 3% crit chance which is completely useless since i get 35% free crit chance every 8 sec for 6 sec and no one cares about it lol
