What Veno Skills to get on my Owl and Drake from event?

They start out with no skills and I do not know what to put on them.

Flesh Ream is fairly OP right now, though it is scheduled to be nerfed soon. I assume the other DOT skills (magic based) are just as bad.
Pounce is always a good choice (stun).

Buffs are nice too, it really depends on your taste. There is +hp, +def , +dmg, bramble. I would say get Flesh ream + pounce and 2 buff types you like.

We would have to test it. I am not sure yet but I think it will work since we will be on the 'Semifinal Stage'.
Just Owl wont be usable there.

Edit : Bramble on pet works. Fly pets don't, as assumed.

Pets count as mobs. As such bramble will work on players provided they are within it's effect range. Players hitting from long range (+range weapons) might avoid it.

This isn't location dependant. Pet bramble works in TW, open world PK and any instance.

Hmm I see. Thanks for clearing this up.

And no, it actually is wrong. I just tested it together with Escorian with a pet that has bramble on it. I nearly hitted it to death being close as possible and I didnt receive any damage while I received damage being on the 'Semifinal Stage'.

This is incorrect open world pk was just tested between me and Caeley and it does not infact work.

Then you were out of range or doing something wrong. I've used pet bramble many times in open world pk. Try hitting it from closer than your max melee range. Also make sure your protections aren't preventing it's effect and have the pet target the person hitting it.

my filters were not preventing it and caeley stood right on me even tried multiple weapons and it did not reflect.

You need to be in range of the pet, not the veno. Also, was the pet fighting back? It's reflect does not work unless the pet is attacking the target.

This PW ... so many weird things. I did stand in the mob attacking it, but the mob didnt fight back.

Yea, the mechanics are rather weird. I've played veno for quite a while here so I've had plenty of time to figure them out. The bramble can be pretty effective on high aps classes but overall it's too much of a hassle to rely on as a pet's only buff.
