windows 8 help please...

Hi All, I got a new computer today that has windows 8 and I use skype.....is there a way I can get skype to a smaller window so its not taking up my whole screen?  so far im not all that impressed with windows 8

Don't use the Windows 8 App, download the regular Skype. Go to their site and get it. That's what I did and I use Windows 8 as well.

i tried that but it keeps taking me to windows 8 app....which option do I choose?

You need Skype for Windows Desktop, not the one for Windows 8.
