Website auto logging off

Every time I leave site no matter if passwords are saved or not, automatically logs me off and I have to click sign in again. I'm not the only one with this issue.

I was asking already 2 weeks ago about this in Helpdesk section, since its bothering - especially on phone.

You get logged out after some time for security reasons, everyone does.

I was asking further, but still missing the answer regarding this part. But I didnt bother to remind him.

Is that a new feature? Coz usually if you tick "Remember me" or the option "Always stay logged in" it doesnt happen.
After logging in, I could open the forum whenever I wanted on phone and pc (doesnt matter) w/o typing my user and pass every time.
I had to enter the login approx every 2-3 weeks. Thats why I was wondering.

Happens to me too.
It's really annoying having to sign in everytime.
I get that it's a security measure maybe but there should be an option to stay logged in like before, it's just a forum account anyways.

press login without entering info
In the next panel you have, select always stay logged in
Login
As long as you do not close the browser tab/program process you will be online

Everytime you close chrome tab or your browser overall, it will log you off, is new feature for security as far as i know

tho other pc keeps logging off aswell maybe a bug in the matrix since some accounts get logged off and some dont

I hardly ever bother logging on forums anymore since it keeps auto-logging me off, sometimes even if it is open in a tab and I return. Only in order to comment on something I log (only to get booted again).


Also on a side note, it is no longer possible to specify forum avatar by URL but it forces it to be uploaded, for example I can no longer specify .gif files by URL, meaning no .gif file can be used as forum avatar as well as uploading renders some photos more pixelated than via URL.
