Can you create another duskblade and see if the game crashes?
also try to create another account with duskblade and see if game crashes...

just want to check if it is just your account like this or it crashes in general...

Did you try  go to EPW/element/userdata and delete systemsettings.ini file and Layout folder - start client and check again.

I would advise you to create restore point with system restore tool , just to be safe  before you deal with your system files...

if something goes wrong , restart computer press F8 and go to your safe mode and then use system restore you the restore point you created...

I will try your suggestion. Burdette, I won't be applying that fix to my system as I know for a fact it is not my operating system. (fresh install fully updated did SFC /Scannow and everything else is working. Just this game.) I am however loading up a VM and will be doing testing via that too. 
Sorry if I came off a little rude with that response. i am not trying to be harsh... Just getting aggravated with this LOL. As noted this is two different systems same symptoms. I will try creating another duskblade and or making a alt account.

created a different account all setting wiped from client fresh install. Proceeded to create a duskblade. that completed successfully.  upon entering game world client crashes. Not account related.

I would say redownload via torrent.
Or do the torrent integrity check of your client archive (just set the torrent download location on the zipped client archive)

Yeah see I re downloaded via torrent this morning. now all of my chars/toons crash. I am going to try wiping the element folder and then do a verify and have the patcher grab all the files. as of now beforehand all integrity checkes passed.

Could RivaTuner Statistics server cause this issue? It comes as part of the MSI after burner setup and allows screen recording and some features like FRAPS.
Just curious as I have never had this issue before. Of course never played on windows 10.

i think it is related to your firewall/antivirus or windows defender

try to put all of them off....

could try the temp disable on wind defender.. but it will turn it's self back on. the firewall is the stock firewall come with windows. never had any issues with it.
But even a firewall wouldn't crash a program. unless it was something like zone alarm 0.0
