Damage Reduction

Anyone know if and what is the cap for Damage Reduction? In our gears and skills we get % Reduce Physical/Magical Damage etc.  just wonderin if it's capped and what is the max % of damage we can reduce. thanks.

well for r8 I can't really say the MAX amount of reduction...it really depends on how lucky you are. Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

think i didnt explain well.. for example

if i have vit tome
damage reduced by 8%
r8 stats /addon
+ reduce phys damage taken 4%
+ reduce phys damage taken 4%
+ reduce phys damage taken 4%


magic rings
+ reduce phys damage taken 3%
+ reduce phys damage taken 3%

robe
+reduce phys damage taken 5%
necklace
+reduce phys damage taken 5%
------
thats a total of 36% reduce physical damage taken right?
and if i use SS then it will stack even more depending
on my Genie's STR right?

If you're talking about the damage reduction in general, it cant go above 90% damage reduction. If you didn't already know, hold your mouse over your def & magic stats when you press C, and it'll show you what you currently have. But yea, to my knowledge, the damage reduction is capped at 90%

I believe if you use an eye of observation you'd be able to see you overall physical/magic save %, not sure if it tells you the % of damage you receive.

I think that pdef/mdef values are independent of phys/magic save %

true. I only use my tank gear and build 4 TW and Both my Barbs PK/PVP as squishy as possible. No fun tanking some when u hit like a kitty not a tiger.

  I just channel too slow. QQ
