It isn't possible currently, but I wish that it were. 

Tomes are a one-time-purchase item in EPW for a large majority of the community, and doing this would not hurt the economy in any way.

In fact if there's someone who needs a particular tome and doesn't have any spare ones it would be easy to find a seller. If any tome could be transferred to the one that is needed, for example I have myself spare tomes in the bank and selling them would be way easier if I could just transfer them into a tome someone is looking for on the world chat at that moment

Still, u need to have one in the first place in order to change it.. in the end you will have to buy one no matter what, the point of this is after the purchase..
