Half the time and make ALL gear changes impossible in combat mode. If you want to kill faster, use attack gear. If you want to survive longer, use the options you already have. (HP potions, IG, genie, survival skills) Hardcore PK ftw. Go play Hello Kitty Online if you can't handle it.

Not a solution at all. Half the time I'm looking for pk anyway, so of course I'm going to go to popular areas. Doesn't mean I won't inevitably have to switch gear at some point.

And the point of not being able to switch during combat was to stop scripting, not stop people from changing gear altogether. Having to stealth in order to switch gear in the middle of a fight isn't exactly a loophole, you still can't do it effectively like you could in the old days. It's simply not abusable.
