Perfect World Game Engine: The Future In Sight

A few days ago a friend (Faye) linked me to Perfect World's Forums, talking about promises of a new game engine. I know this was talked about in the update that released the nightshade, however this is the first time there's been video of future gameplay in development on the new Engine. Thoughts?

I did no such thing, and I give credit to Omarqt.

I'm excited tho, games ancient. It'd be nice especially if it ended up giving people better fps.

Watch it be total crap when it comes out, since it probably won't come out for another 5 years.

I'm kinda hoping that it's going to be everything I hope for, but then I remember it's PWI. And I remember I won't go back to PWI so it'd be a few months-years before Epic got it (if Epic was still open) so.

I'd wait until an official announcement, seems like it would be way too massive of a change for a game that could have used it 5-10 years ago when it had somewhat a decent population.

But with all the FPS, rubber-banding, and other issues, god, I'd take almost anything over this, turning it completely into action-based wouldn't be so bad in comparison.

imo if they remake Perfect World in a new way using the engine I'd say toast PC's will no longer be able to run the game (like me) "crosses fingers this not to happen"

Even if it happened, EPW wouldn't get it for another 5 years, and this server will be long gone by then. I'm sure another server will be up and running when the files are leaked, assuming this entire community doesn't fade out by then.
