Best recording tool/Editing tool(free)

Ive always had problems editing videos and recording.....
recording I usually do fine but the editing is where I fk up or the file becomes too large to upload without taking weeks
any tips on what I should use that comes with editing and records without lagging too badly?

The "best" recording tools are NVidia Shadowplay and its AMD counterpart. 

If you don't have a high-end GPU, you should use one of the following: 

• DxDiag
• FRAPS

As for video editing and rendering the massive files down to a smaller file in high resolution, honestly the only editing software I'd use is 

Sony Vegas 13

DxDiag is free to download; however

FRAPS and Sony Vegas you'll need to torrent. Anyone that actually wants these bad enough will torrent them.

Once you have them, watch some Youtube guides on their uses. It's pretty easy to get the hang of it.

already tried fraps dislike it honestly I used it for all my other vids tho

honestly, if you got windows 10 and a good graphics card that the xbow game bar supports you can us that to record, its pretty good rarely see any lag with it whatsoever.

The issue with FRAPS and a lot of recording software is that they rely 100% on CPU power, and since PW & many other games absorb most of the CPU power you have when running, you'll notice a slight to significant FPS drop in the games when recording

GPU powered recording softwares rarely if ever drop frames in games, which is what makes softwares such as GeForce Experience (Shadowplay) so amazing.
