EXP Gear Myth?

I know of a few pieces of gear that give exp bonuses in this game do they nerf after a certain amount cause with +10% i get bonuses but then when i go to +18% exp bonus my exp drops to around 15% of the normal amount.
is that server messing up and not reading the exp. or is it really nerfing my exp that much.
EXP gear is as follows: EXP belt +10%, Exp tome +4%, Exp necklace +4%.

Having the same thing with my +14%

This is normal, while the number may be smaller, you're getting more than the pop text displays. You get used to it.

Tyran hit the nail on the head; you're probably seeing smaller numbers than your recieving. Your first tip off will be if the spirit you're recieving is a tiny number compared to the exp. 

If you ever played PWI, or anywhere else that had hyper experience stones, this was a common visual glitch.

my cleric was 105 before hypers came out so i never saw the glitch sorry.
