Rank 8 vs 150 gear

So im having a hard time understanding which is better...i have a wiz and i was wondering overall which is better? should i get the mats and do the demonic gear and make the dragon gear or should i get rank 8 and do recast? which is better for what....im so confused...

It depends on what stats you get on the reforge, and r8 has higher refines, but dragon has set stats. Your pick really. They're both great.

In my opinion r8 is only really worth it if you're rich (in game).
Dragon gear is just as good if not better (depending on your luck).
If you're playing psychic I'd say definitely go for it.

i have a r8 cleric and a dragon gear wizar

bouth are easy to get

dragon gear is more for -chan

r8 is for defence if u get all peaces of gear recasted u get 30 def lvl`s and 25 atk lvl`s without other bonnuses from ger...on weap u can get nice recast if u have enought EC`s to recast it like 30 more atk lvl`s or def lvl`s + the other stuff like puri on weap and shiz

so if u are a PvP`er go for r8 if u wanna be a farmer go for Dragon

First off, aside from the 44 gold for rank 8, the recast itself only costs 1.8k ec for the entire set reshape, which, at 150, is going to be pocket change.

I prefer rank 8 over Dragon simply because of the Attack and Defence levels as a set bonus, and on the weapon, which are indispensable.

While Dragon's static stats are nice, there are simply some things that I'd prefer over dragon, such as the 10% pdef and the like.

Honestly, it's up to you, but with time and patience, r8 can overshadow dragon for a lot of classes.
