Need help

[Mercenary]

So i wanted to change ui and get a free ui from free ui thread, so i downloaded the ui, and replaced the interfaces.pck thing, opened element it went to patch v135, then it updated to v158 only took like a minute, so i thought it was all good. got in, put account info, logged in,pressed start and it force closes everytime i press start.
Explain what i did wrong please

Redownload/reinstall the client, don't use a custom UI.

Some of the older custom UIs won't work after certain patches (especially if you have a certain smiley set equipped or there have been major changes to the game). Most of the people that post in the Free UI thread don't update their UIs frequently so using them is always a risk.  I usually update my own after every patch so I don't have problems with crashes.

There is always a chance for the files to get corrupted during download or patch, you might want to redownload using a different browser or simply put your old UI back. (always make backups)

if none of those works you might have to redownload the game, because corrupted files can mess up other elements of the game that cant be easily repaired.

also you should notify the UI maker about this, so they can check if its their files being corrupt.
