- To run the patch, please double click on the patch file.

- The other method to update the game is clicking on button 'Manual' on the patcher and choosing the patch file (please make sure that you have option 'Update game automatically' disabled - uncheck it after clicking on Update button)


Detailed instructions:

Step 1:  Download basic Game client from below link

Step2:  Now go to below link for EPW patch

Step 3:  After saving both manual patches on your computer

Open
Epic Perfect World folder

Open
launcher folder

Open
Launcher.exe


Step4:  Click on Update (right most button from START)
Uncheck the radio button for Automatically Update Client
Click confirm

Step5:  Click on Manual (button next to START on right side)
Now select the patch file epw-patch-v140-v145.cup on your computer and click Open

this should start updating your client version from 1.4.0 to 1.4.5

Step6: Once its updated to client 1.4.5

Click on Manual (button next to START on right side)
 Now select the patch file epw-patch-v145-v148.cup on your computer and click Open

this should start updating your client version from 1.4.5 to 1.4.8

Step7:  Once its updated to client 1.4.8

Click on Update (right most button from START)
 Check the radio button for Automatically Update Client
Click confirm

Step8:  Now either the client auto updates to version 1.4.9 or if not exit and restart launcher and auto update to version 1.4.9

Now you must be able to play the game..

Have you tried aut patching in your patcher settings?

I got it's at patch 159 now
