this game is not bad at all if you log to pk once or twice a day, just not interesting to play for hours anymore.

I came from PWI, this server was pretty empty, no lag in west arch.
Took me some time to find out little details that make things much easier.
Met the love of my life.

Now I login every now and then to give first aid and advice to some new player.
From PWI or not, they all need some boost from time to time.

Example: saw people adding HP stones instead of Vit ones to gear.
Also saw couple of them not refining.
Or not carrying Guardian Scrolls.
Or paying too much for Skill Books in AH, or other stuff.
Details that can make difference between pleasant play and disappointment / quit.

Game is good, server is good, people are good, GM's are good.
No reason to waste all that.

Just out of curiosity since a lot of people tend to have negative things to say about the game and talk about how dead or out-dated it is versus other games.

The game is a bit out-dated in comparison to other new genes of gaming? 
Sure, but there is some classy in old school games like this too, like art and gameplay related.
That's pretty much what makes me stay here. And friendships made from over years ago who will never be forgotten
