Question about sacred stones

Do they stack on a weapon like if I put two sacred stones of the same type does the effect strengthen or if I put two different ones do I get both effects sorry if its a bit of a noob question

You can only use one in order for it to work properly and you can't strengthen the effect. You can put other stones next to it though
