Idk if im rly understanding this but the hours you get for killing ppl don't have anything to do with tw.
You need to be in the faction for 100 hours to enter tw not have 100 hours on ur red name to enter.
Or do you mean ur name turns white when u change it even when it was red before?

I'm sure you didn't had hours , because plenty people have changed name in Artifex several times before TW , and entered ( Uxkhal changed name friday night and he was able to get in TW Saturday).

Changing your name won't "reset" your hours or anything to keep you from entering TW as long as you don't leave faction.
