The Island Game

Lets play a game.... 

~Scenario~
You have won the lottery. You now have a million bagillion dollars in your bank account *says this in the voice of Dr. Evil* You decide to set sail on a yacht with your family and/or friends (these can be from in game or your real life or both). A storm comes and the systems on your brand new vessel are disabled and you go offline and completely off the radar....cell phones loose all reception...and no satellite signals. (This may be slightly unrealistic, but just play along please) Your ship hits a jagged rock 300 feet off the coast of an uninhabited tropical island (Again unrealistic, but again bear with me and play along) you are able to escape in a lifeboat with 12 items for supplies and 2 people. Who and what do you choose?

Rules
1. No cell phones or anything that can be used to contact the outside world. (They don't work here for some weird reason)
2. The things you bring...have to be able to fit in a lifeboat....
3. The things you bring have to be reasonable to have had your yacht in the first place.
4. Things like clothing can be listed as like a trunk of clothing and this will count as 1 item. You can bring things in packages (Ex. box of matches, gallon of liter fluid, bag of sugar, set of bed sheets, bottle of Tylenol, ect.)

Please Note: This island is approximately 20 miles in diameter and is untouched by human habitation. However....it is inhabited by animals, fruit bearing trees of sorts (use your imagination), and it does have a stream of fresh water. Rescue is possible eventually, however unlikely for a very long time.

Hmm. 12 items you say?
Does the raft itself count? Oh well, no matter. I shall choose as if it does not.

Two people I would be in a yacht with would be... **** it, Lau and Jasmine.

1. The Bowie knife I have on my person at all times.
2. Insulated blanket from ship's survival supplies.
3. Rope
4. Tools (such as hammer, screwdriver, etc that would've been in the Yacht's crew quarters)
5. Binoculars
6. Sneakers or boots (depends on were we were going in our yacht)
7. Matches
8. A pot from the kitchen on the yacht
9. First-Aid kid (includes bandages, gauze, tweasers, medical tape, make-shift splints, etc)
10. Tarps (that may have been used to cover life raft)
11. Small firearm. (Ship is bound to have a gun somewhere)
12. Duct Tape.

I don't need clothes because mine can be easily washed and clean clothing isn't nearly as important as surviving. Plus, when/if Lau and Jasmine die, I can just rob their corpses. c:

Other than that, I'd have the basic things needed for survival. As you said food can be found on the island, and if Sean or Christi somehow tragically met their end, no meat would go to waste.

I'd force Lau on the yacht and bring Kirsten too. We can just kill Lau after we get stranded though and take all his iteons.

Since I made the thread I should probably give an answer too. Its only fair. Lets see....I'd bring Lothus and my dog most likely.

1. A first aid kit.
2. The crate of assorted liquor for restock purposes found underneath the bar on my yacht, which would contain a large bottle of rum.
3. As much rope as I could carry.
4. A well made pair of knee high galoshes.
5. A swiss army knife.
6. A box containing an inflatable air mattress.
7. A box of nails.
8. A box of tools containing the standard assortment (hammer, screwdriver, ect.)
9. A fishing rod.
10. A tackle box.
11. A large pot.
12. A large piece of flint.
