That one is really creepy  ??? I liked his article on how to write a poem (The Raven), although that one had...deep, special meanings as well  :normal-2:

Black cat was something way too horrible until I actually read it myself. Childhood memories, you know.. I remembered it to be soo damn creepy that I refused to read it for like 10 years or more :normal-13:

also, "Two Evil Eyes" is a good example of what I was so afraid of

Soooooooo many interesting books posted here D: I soooooo wanna get my hands on some

Can you guys recommend anything that's specifically fiction with like magic and stuff? Possibly with some sort of school setting, or perhaps even a more mature setting where the nature of magic is explored freely... I don't really want it to be some sort of "Hidden magic powers to you cause you're a chosen one"  type of book if possible.

Sorry, I'm writing my own story and am kind of looking for inspiration haha

Also, would be appreciated if you don't recommend harry potter - It sort of fits what I'm looking for, but I'd rather have the characters (and the universe in general) have access to magic more freely and to be less restricted when using it.

Also don't mind my grammar cause it's 4 am and I've been up for 23 hours now x)

The Bartimaeus Trilogy (first one is Amulet of Samarkand). It's -really- good. I posted it before, so you just have to scroll up to read a summary.

Krabat is the one, and very dark one too. It doesn't match your needs 100% of course lol but it's really good

I think it's originally called a satanic windmill

BUT I MYSELF can't find the free version anywhere, kill me :'( :'( :'( :'( tho I'm sure it's a great book. I wish I could buy it from amazon...
