Yes it does, but by increasing your number of chances, it also costs you.
So it's not really any advantage other than possibly saving you time.
Even then, it still doesn't guarantee you good stats.

It depends, maybe you will not get what you're aiming for but the bigger chances will surely give you something decent, I still didnt get any triple ct piece of my ea but it got stuff like double dex + ct or double ele resist pants + ct; and +2 atk + 10 dex/str in almost all my ornaments, definitely not what I aimed for but I surely wont complain either.
