So it's not really any advantage other than possibly saving you time.

partially wrong, any random function in any program gives all possibilities. 1000$ at my exchange ratio would be 530k EC, 20 stacks of dama ores more than enough to generate expected stats ( as long as your not expecting crazy shit xD ) http://engineering.mit.edu/ask/can-computer-generate-truly-random-number
