Hello, I was just wondering people options on  the mystic and seeker classes and if they are any good. I do know that a lot of people look for seekers, but why is that? And also, I was just wondering, what wo0uld the advages of going sage or demon for both?

Sage seeker can solo anything pve, that is why they are asked for so often.
Mystics can heal rapidly, sage purifying as fast as a cleric without having to break the healing off, demon having 30% (I think) aoe purify every 6 seconds.

Both can foil sins stealth in pvp.

Going sage seeker is a good way to make some money and get into pking :)

If choosing a seeker, I recommend you use both ^.^

Yeah, Longsword hits harder and is perfect for Vortex and other skills,
Dual Blade is faster, good for melee: PvP and some bosses.

But reconsider price. You might decide to lose.

I guess that makes sense. What would a good stat build be? I looked up a guide that said 7 STR and 3 DEX every level, that any good?

Don't really need to add like that here because you level so quickly. Generally enough dexterity for weapons (which is 228 for dragon weapons), maybe more depending on what you want. Rest in strength.

From 1 to 110 just stat enough for your gear, with all extra points into strength. Then from there on, every even level= 5 STR, every odd level= 3 DEX 2 STR

Correction 1 to 150 stat enough for gear, add the rest into str. :P the extra dex you add that you don't need will go into evasion, etc but will lower your dph. I suggest at 150 enough dex for weapon/armor and adding the rest into str for dph

What I did with my stats, if you're just starting, have someone link both 150 weps, take those stats, and fill in the first one you can first, then the rest on the other. Seeker's don't need much dex for the dual edges, and can easily have that stat done in the early levels (110-120ish maybe). Then just add every stat for str, and add the +15 vit stones till 150 gear, then +20.

Thanks for all the replies, but I was also wondering one more thing. How do you play as a seeker? Because in there skills I notice the skills like Northern Sky waltzes, and I was just wondering how you really play as them.

Hmm, you just gave me the idea of making a guide on seekers. :s Will start working on it

One simple example:
Activate Parchblade Dance. It will give a chance to
put Bloodlet status onto target with some of your hits.
When you see Bloodlet on your target, you hit
Stalagstrike to deal additional damage with it
and stun target for 3 sec. (Sage. For Demon don't know.)

Also, you have Heart Shatter. Hit target with it to reduce
its Phys and Metal defence during the rest of the fight
(unless really long). It increases damage dealt by you,
Cleric and phys squad mates (BM, Barb, Sin, Seeker...).

Mind Shatter will reduce Wood and Water defence, it
will increase damage dealt by Mystic, Veno, Wizard if
they are in your squad.

Soul Shatter reduces target's Fire and Earth defence,
but lasts for 20 sec only, and have 3 min cooldown.
Use it sparingly (harder bosses when Wiz is fighting
on your side). :)

Demon adds 1 second to it, making it 4. Also you must have both Parchedblade and Stalagstrike Sage/Demon for it to work.

its Phys and Metal defence during the rest of the fight

These last three unfortunately don't work in PvP, so seekers going for more PK orientated may not get much use out of these.
