[Forum Event] Mr & Miss EpicPW

Time to strut your stuff on the EpicPW catwalk.
In response to those asking for a fashion event, I decided to do something a little different.
Welcome to the EpicPW beauty pageant.
Compete for the Mr or Miss EpicPW crown and title.

I intend to run this once a month.


This event is all about showcasing your character and yourself.
There will be 5 screenshot components.
They are all about how you use your fashion, your location, your poses or emotes,
your friends, your enemies, bosses, mobs, pets or mounts.
It's not just about what you are wearing,
it's about how well your screenshot fits the themes and how creative you are.
You also need to answer a question. Try to be as honest, as unique and as creative as you can be.




ღ There are two parts to this forum event that need to be completed for your entry to be valid.
ღ One entry per person (no separate entries on alts).
One entry =  all of the components below in one post only (5 screenshots & 1 answer)
in a reply to this thread.
ღ Nothing offensive, racist, trolling or offtopic. Entries will be deleted and you will be disqualified from re-entering.
ღ Please include your character name in your entry. I don't want to have to chase everyone to mail rewards
so choose which toon you would like the reward on if you win.
You may use any character you like in your entry.
Doesn't have to be your main.
ღ Only basic edits that would appear on any standard program
as in contrast, brightness, shadow, soften, & sharpen (all to a certain extent) will be allowed.
No special filters, borders or photo manipulation etc.
ღ Keep your entry to one post please. Just edit it to add further content.
ღ Winners from the previous month may not compete in the following month,
but are free to enter the next event after
(e.g. If you won in September, you may not compete in October, but can re-enter in November).
This only applies to the two main winners (one male & one female) not the runner-ups.





You will need to submit your own screenshot portfolio with five (5) screenshots in total.
You must submit one (1) screenshot for each of the following categories:

Seasonal - Fall/Autumn
From this month onwards, I have changed the Swimsuit theme based on a few suggestions.
Decided to make it a seasonal theme.
So depending on the month, it will be themed after the current season
(for the Northern Hemisphere as it contains most of the server population, as well as server location).
So this month is November, so it will be Fall/Autumn.
You can match this by fashion, colours, location, anything.

Formal
This will be a regular theme, so it fits with the general 'Beauty Pageant' theme.
Same as last month. Formal fashion is a must.

Christmas
I won't be running the event in December as it will run into Christmas and New Year's
which will be hectic for everyone, plus other events will be on.
So I'm hosting the Christmas theme now.
Pretty self explanatory. Show us your festive spirit.
Fash, locations, mounts, pets.
You could even show us what Christmas looks like when you celebrate it.
Feel free to add a description to aid your shot.

EPW's Birthday

It's partytime! EPW celebrated its birthday this month.
Show us your best party outfit OR choose your own dress up theme for the party.
You can pick a theme for the party and dress accordingly for it.
Just don't forget to tell us the theme.

Personal Choice
This will be a regular theme, so it fits with the general 'Beauty Pageant' theme. Same as every month.
Anything you like. Completely freestyle.


Your character must be visible in the shot.





Much like Miss Universe and such, there will be a question that you will need to answer to the best of your ability.

Question/s for this month:

What do you want for Christmas and why?

Go as imaginative and as grand as you'd like.
You can tell us why you want this particular gift.
Can be as fictional as you like, but don't be ridiculous. Just be creative.
I know some people don't celebrate Christmas, I don't mean to be insensitive with the question,
so just think of a gift you would like to receive for a special occasion or holiday.

Please limit your response to 100 words or less,
else it will take me ages to read through several walls of text.

Nothing trolling, offensive or offtopic.
Your post will be deleted and you will be disqualified.
Have fun with it but keep it tasteful.

If I am not online to close the thread, any entries after this time will not be counted.





Your entry will go before a panel of GMs to decide the winner.
We will judge each entry based on creativity and effort.

1st Class Runners-up (1 boy & 1 girl):
- 250EC

2nd Class Runners-up (x boys & x girls, depending on number of entries):
- 100EC
- 50ST
- 1 ET

Participation:
- 1 ET per person

Howdy all.

About the future of this event:

From now on, it will be open at the start of the last week of the month.
It will be open for the seven (7) days remaining of the month and close at 12pm midday on the last day of the month.
I hope to have winners announced by the 1st of the next month (possibly delayed if I am busy) and then rinse and repeat each month.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for themes for screenshots or questions, feel free to message me on forums.
I'm always open to suggestions and ultimately, these events are for you guys so I wanna hear your ideas.

I have a few questions already prepared, but as for screenshot themes, I'm keen for help.
They need to be general themes, nothing to biased or specific.
Same goes for questions, however, I'd like the questions to be somewhat EPW or PW related.
