[Steroids]

I don't know how many of you actually did this instance but it's a lot of fun and the rewards aren't bad. It is one of the few instances where you can fly.

The rewards from Blood of Wind and Fire are now:

• 75 x Dragon Blood Stones
• 2 x Dragon Jade Stones
• 1 x Reawakened (Title) [title is account stashable but non-tradeable] (Permanent)
• 8 x Flowsilver Coin
• 8-14 x Perfect Element

The drops (a few Dragon Blood Stones) are counted separately.
Everyday, one char can do 3 runs of this instance.

You can enter the instance from the Illusion Stone. As far as I know, you don't need a squad to enter the instance or open it. But, it's not possible with 1 char, you can try though, but it'll take longer. It's possible to solo if you dual client.

For leader:
First, set the drops on free, this instance has something like the axes from FSP.
After entering, talk to Dual Envoy and take Fighting Wind and Fire and then choose Kill Inferno Lord Phyrex.

For all members:
All members, including leader, have to talk to Dual Envoy and take Blood of Wind and Fire and Elemental Disaster.

Follow the arrows and step into the red portal.

When you enter, fly up in the air till you see Inferno Lord Phyrex



It has a BB like effect, you have to kill the minions surrounding it.

Occasionally, one of the squad mates will get caged. There'll be a message on your screen, so you can't miss it. Just target the cage and kill it to free your friend.



After most of the minions are dead, you can start attacking the boss. However, the minions keep spawning, so let one of your members kill the minions while the rest of the squad attacks the boss.

After the boss is dead. Immortal Flames will summon. I'm not sure how many there are but you have to kill them off quickly. I was soloing so....no time to count x.x But, there are around 8 and easy to kill, use tab target.



After they're all dead, you'll see a message about bugs attacking. Look around for this place:



And get ready to use AoEs. It's just like GV. There will be 3 waves of monsters, small waves. The main mobs are the ones that are in the front, kill those and you're good to go. But they don't keep aggro and you'll have to stun/use ranged attacks. Molten Giants however will keep aggro, don't focus too much on them.



When 3 waves are done, you'll see a message saying "Kill the real tower scorcher"



The PWI guide mentions a lot of bs about arrays and needing 8 people to activate. Well, you don't need that here. Go straight for Inferno Lord Phyrex.



When he's killed, go back to the NPC and take To Undercurrent Hall

Follow the arrows into the blue portal.



Wind hall is probably the most fun instance you'll ever go to, well, for some.

As soon as you enter, you'll notice a counter in your quest tracker.



Well, the first objective in here, is to collect dragons and submit them. For this part, read the whole spoiler first, then do it.

You'll see a few places like this in this map.



That is where you have to submit the dragons. There is an object at the center which, after digging, sucks in the dragons and increases your count.

Once you start flying, you'll notice this everywhere.



Those are Hidden Dragons. After you bring them below 50% HP, they'll disappear and a Exposed Dragon will spawn in it's place. So, you have to collect Exposed Dragon and bring them to the trap (place mentioned above) They lose aggro if you fly too far. I'd suggest using a slower flier to make things easier.

Of course, I haven't mentioned the Wind Spells from that counter. Well, you need at least 10 wind spells to dig the trap (to submit collect dragons)

Getting wind spells is the best part of this instance. When there's a system message like



When you see that, look around and you'll see rings like:



As soon as you fly through one, your speed will increase. The goal is to fly through as many rings as you can. You'll feel like you're playing quiditch (or however it's spelled) after a few rings. Anyway, the rings disappear after a while but they come back. If you're doing this instance with friends, ask 1 of them to keep flying through rings while others collect dragons.

If you're doing solo, however, just collect wind spells first, then go for dragons. The spells don't decrease after some time, so you can farm them first.



After 20 dragons are submitted. Herald of Cyrak spawns somewhere in the air. Useless boss tbh. Doesn't drop anything. But, you have to kill it.

Another dragon spawns after 40 are submitted. Wind Dragon, easy to kill, but you have to.

Continue till you have submitted 60 dragons.

As you can see, there are two dimensions (portals)





First, we'll enter the West/Upper Dimension.

Devil's Prison-Supression

The boss here is nicknamed Chilo



You can attack him at the beginning. But then, he buffs himself. After that, all your attacks hit him for 1 damage. Eventually, he spawns a Storm Beetle, kill it for Eye of the Storm. Don't use it, we'll need it later. For now, keep attacking it and collect at least 4 Eyes of the Storm if you're solo-ing. 2 should be enough in a big squad. Now leave through the portal. There's a trick to entering the East/Lower Dimension



Here, instead of entering from the front, go around the portal and enter from the back. You'll be ported to the entrance of the other portal (works both ways). Then enter the portal.

Devil's Prison-Pacification



The boss here is nicknamed Lihuo

Same as Chilo. He'll spawn a Torrential Beetle



They drop Evaporation Crystal So, collect a few of those.

Once you think you have enough, get ready. Use Eye of the Storm and unleash hell on Lihuo. When he has the buff on him Eye of the Storm. Also, when he buffs, he spawns a mob, don't let the mob reach the center, or he'll regenerate all of his HP. Once you're done, leave through the portal and do the same for Chilo.

When you kill the second boss a chest will spawn (couldn't get a SS, killed it too fast -.-) kill it and it'll drop a few Dragon Blood Stone. Also, when one of the bosses is killed, your quest will be completed and you'll get 20 Dragon Blood Stones

Then, leave through the portal, talk to the NPC to go back to the lobby and turn in your quest at Dual Envoy.

On the official, for a full run of UCH, the blue quest has to be done 3 times. However, the main reward (Dragon Jade Stone) can be obtained from the first run itself. And after that, the next 2 runs only give a few Dragon Blood Stones. And, it's too much work for 40 DBS, I'd recommend you to not do it.[/color]

Well, a friend of mine said she could start with just one. But you'll need at least two people for the boss in Fire Hall, to help with the cages.

But I solo'd the whole instance on my 2nd visit. It's easy if you have the right chars.

I suppose that makes EPW PVE one of the few places where using steroids is recommended.

Right char as in the right classes. And, sorry, I can't upload videos because of my connection.

Anyway, I did the instance with a mystic, barb and seeker. Seeker and mystic as DD for the Flame Lord's minions (orbs in the air) then again, mystic and seeker as DD for the timed killing (huge orbs in the air) then seeker in vortex for the waves of insects and mystic DD. Barb mystic and seeker as DD for the final boss.

For the second one, mystic for flying through halos. Barb for pulling dragons. Seeker for killing the dragon bosses.
