I've just found a malware on the Epw's "patcher.exe".
Has this happened to anyone else? Or is it just my retarded antivirus?? >:

What antivirus are you using? And what kind of virus is it detecting? There is no way there would be one in Epw's patcher downloaded from our site 
I'd say that AV went crazy or it's showing patcher as a potiential virus cause of some harmless code/it's connecting to other server (while checking for updates). You can either ignore it or change ur av

If your AV doesn't block patcher.exe or anything then you're fine.

Add it patcher.exe as an exclusion if your AV is blocking it. Antiviruses do that to most steam games that update/connect to servers before running.


Try this for Avast:

If patcher.exe is still blocked after exclusion, disable your AV.

Its not a virus but some AV with firewall and realtime web protection report patcher as potentially dangerous but its false report.. Add it in exception and you will be fine

Have no probs with Patcher.exe.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials and my comps (desktop and notebook) run smoothly.
