i just patched now and i think its 0 % but its already passed 30 mins

Yes, this is really how long it takes, around 4 hours with decent / fast connection.
You're probably better off redownloading the client :/

oh isee btw is it ok to pause patching by closing the patcher then re patch by opening it

it takes less than 5 min only if you are patching the new client from the download page.

It should work, although patcher isn't reliable download tool at all and often if you close it, it simply restarts instead of continuing the patching. Sometimes it shows errors on the way. Redownloadig client saves much time and trouble,

Also if you really need to pause the download for whatever reason, download the full client using a download manager of some sort ("Internet Download Manager" would be my suggestion). You can pause your download using that and resume it anytime from any point with little to no worries.

Edit: IDM also utilizes your bandwidth much better and will probably provide a much better download speed than your web browser.
