Now unless PWI Forums and PWI Wiki are wrong, PWI came out roughly 6 years ago.

Off-topic: They weren't contesting PWI's release. But PW was released for the Asian markets first and then made it's way to NA and EU. Perfect World CN has been around for a long while (summer of '05).

Having more forum mods wouldnt help, there are enough GMs around the forums at almost all times of the day. Then there's us supports who also check the forums frequently. A section like this would be very vague and hard to control.

Fine, 6-10 years depending on how you look at it.  But I didn't know about it before PWI, nor have I played the older versions, so there.

Anyways, the rest of that post still stands.  It's an older game, yes, but I play another ancient game (Final Fantasy XI, celebrating its 12th anniversary this year, been released for 10 in North America) and believe it or not new players do trickle in.  It's not a HUGE outpouring like if it were a newer game, but it's there. 

Besides, look at how a couple of the latest responses to THIS thread have been.  Do you wanna see a whole forum section dedicated to that? Point is, it ain't gonna happen simply because it's gonna do absolutely nothing but turn away newer players if it gets to that extreme.
