elementclient.exe rerouted to patcher.exe

This isn't so much a problem with the game, probably, but when I try to use elementclient.exe to start a client, it reroutes me to patcher.exe to open.  Now as I am on a computer with no administrative privileges, this constitutes somewhat of a bother, and one that i haven't had up until 1.5/this patch. 

Is this just something written in (that might want to be changed ( ) or is there a way I can fix it myself?  Please advise.  Thanks much!

This came with the NH patch. Only happens for first client though, so the second you open will open normally. Doubt this would work, but try opening the patcher and then opening another and see if the second goes straight through.
