Guide for the recent Crash/Disconnects

Due to the recent complains about game crashing we decided to make this little guide and we hope that with it everyone can fix their problem related to this.

So let's start this by checking some minor things and files.

serverlist.txt

Open your EpicPW folder;
Open your Patcher folder;
Open your server folder;
Open the serverlist.txt file;
(If you can't see the file extensions its because you have them off, so the file would be only serverlist)

When open this you should get this writen on it:

EPW
Epica        28000:178.33.234.187   1

If you have something diferent than this please copy this 2 lines and replace the ones in your file.
After this, please double click on the Patcher.exe

Open your EpicPW folder;
Open your Patcher folder;
Open your server folder;
Open the updateserver.txt file;
(If you can't see the file extensions its because you have them off, so the file would be only serverlist)

When open this you should get this writen on it:

"Patch"   "http://91.121.5.146/patch144/"

If you have something diferent than this please copy this line and replace the one in your file.
After this, please double click on the Patcher.exe

elementclient.exe

Open you EpicPW folder;
Open you element folder;

In here you only need to check if you have the file elementclient.exe
If you dont have this file it means your antivirus deleted it by thiking it was a virus, this happens with several antivirus beeing Norton the worst -.-
What you need to do is create an exception in your antivirus for the whole EpicPW. (i would do this even if your antivirus doesn't accuse this problem)
Next step is to download the file, click on the link below
elementclient.exe
Launch the game by double clicking on the Patcher.exe or Launcher.exe.

zlibwapi.dll

This file is easily checked, specially cuz it gives an error when you launch the game. If you are getting this error it means you patched another server with EpicPW patch. As you notice, it ends up wrong. To solve this you can either:
Download the file and inser it into you EpicPW\element

Lets move into the actual errors and error messages that people get.

elementclient.exe

If you get this error while playing you should get a message saying that windows is trying to find a solution for the problem. To solve this you trully need to download the EpicPW client, there no other way since this results in a failure patching of another server.

elementclient.exe

If while launching the game you get an error about elementclient.exe not existing, it means that your antivirus deleted it because it thought it was virus (this happens mainly with Norton and AVG). To prevent this there are some things you need to do. First create an exception in your antivirus (google about it because it depends on each antivirus, so i won't be making a guide for each and every of them, sorry). After the exception is created (remember create the exception for the whole EpicPW folder), you need to start the game from the Launcher.exe, next on the Launcher click on Verify. This action will take a few minutes, be patient please.

Crash / Disconnects

If your game is crashing without a message, just closing it means your client files are corrupted therefore doesn't allow the game to work properly. For this the only solution is to download the full EpicPW client.

I had continuous client crash... then I downloaded EpicPW client and every problem gone, looks updating the PWI 621+ clients causing crashes. ( ofc i tested out the error on different pcs and operation systems the EPW client working perfectly at every circumates unlike the patched official client )

my client is always crashing after a one run at the pv.. and it has a crash report.. what solution can you recommend?

you cannot leave PV while the damage count is on, or you will get crash exactly.
what you can do is relog to your character selection screen then come to the game again. other than tis, just dont leave PV with the damage count on.

Like you sad to download again if the pw crashing without a message, just closing to download again.Still don't working it's the same think on bouth pc's.

if u have client from download use that one and patch. first delete the one u r using at the moment.
